Routines · Reminders · Streaks

Build better routines,
one checked box at a time.

Reminly is an offline habit tracker for Android that isn't another todo list. You write a routine once — and every morning your daily checklist is already there, generated from it. Reminders, streaks, statistics and a focus timer, entirely offline. No account, no cloud, no internet.

Free · Android APK · Your data never leaves your phone.

Everything a routine needs. Nothing it doesn't.

Install the APK and start. There is no sign-up, no setup wizard, and nothing to configure.

Routines, not todos

Write a routine once. Reminly generates the day's checklist from it automatically — you never re-create tomorrow's list by hand.

Recurrence that fits real life

Daily, weekdays, weekends, weekly, monthly, yearly, specific dates, or every N days. “Every 3 days” and “every month on the 15th” both just work.

Reminders that fire offline

Unlimited reminders per routine, plus daily and weekly nudges. They survive reboots and DST — an 8 AM reminder stays at 8 AM.

Streaks worth keeping

Current and longest streak, tracked across every routine. Days with nothing scheduled stay neutral — they don't break a streak you earned.

Dashboard & statistics

Completion rate, daily average, most completed and most missed routine, a 14-day heatmap, and charts over any range you pick.

Focus timer

Pomodoro or a custom block, optionally linked to a task. It computes elapsed time from the clock, so backgrounding the app never loses your session.

Calendar & history

A month at a glance, each day marked completed, partial, missed or pending. Tap any date to see exactly what you did — or didn't.

Search everything

Find any routine or any past task by title, tag, priority, date or completion status — and combine those filters however you like.

Offline by design

No account, no server, no telemetry, no permissions you'd rather not grant. Everything lives in a local database on your phone.

Say it once. It repeats forever.

The recurrence engine is the whole product. Every rule below generates your checklist for you.

See it in action

A checklist you actually finish, a calendar that remembers, numbers that add themselves up, and a timer for the hard parts.

Today

The screen you open a dozen times a day

Your day, already written. Tap the box, or swipe — right to complete, left to skip. The tick lands instantly; the database catches up behind it.

  • Completed tasks stay visible, struck through — you see what you finished
  • Unfinished work collects in an Overdue section instead of silently piling into tomorrow
  • Long-press for multi-select, or to leave a note on a single task
Dashboard

Your consistency, added up automatically

Today's ring, current and longest streak, what you completed and what you missed over the last 30 days, plus a two-week heatmap of every day's rate.

  • Streaks ignore empty days — a day with nothing scheduled never counts against you
  • Statistics drills further: completion rate, daily average, most completed and most missed routine
  • Filter by date, range, tag or priority
Calendar

A month you can read at a glance

Every day carries a dot: completed, partial, missed, or still pending. Tap a date to see that day's checklist exactly as it was — completions included.

  • History is immutable: a finished task keeps the title it had the day you finished it
  • Months generate as you visit them, and never regenerate on a second look
  • Week start follows your setting — Monday or Sunday
Focus

A timer for the tasks that need one

Pomodoro out of the box, or set your own block. Link a session to a task and the time is credited to it — focus minutes show up on your dashboard the same day.

  • Elapsed time comes from the clock, not from ticks — backgrounding the app can't lose it
  • An abandoned session records what you actually did, not what you planned
  • Session history feeds your focus statistics
Reminders

A nudge at the right minute, with no server involved

Every routine can carry as many reminders as it needs, and they're scheduled on the device itself. Complete or snooze straight from the notification — the app doesn't even need to be open.

  • Survives reboot: reminders reschedule themselves when the phone comes back up
  • DST-safe — an 8 AM reminder is still 8 AM after the clocks change
  • Global daily, weekly and monthly nudges alongside per-routine ones

Universal APK

Works on every Android phone. If you're unsure, take this one.

Reminly isn't on the Play Store, so Android will ask for permission the first time. Open the downloaded file, and when prompted tap Settings → allow Install unknown apps for your browser → Install. You only do this once.

The whole app runs on your phone

Reminly has no backend to talk to. Your routines, your history and your streaks live in a local database, and the only way data leaves your device is when you export a backup file and choose where to send it.

Questions, answered

The things people ask before installing.

Is Reminly free?

Yes — completely. No ads, no subscription, no in-app purchases, and no paid tier holding features back.

Does Reminly need an internet connection?

No. Reminly works entirely offline. There's no account, no server and no cloud sync — your routines and history live in a local database on your phone, and reminders are scheduled by the device itself.

How is this different from a to-do list?

A to-do list stores individual tasks that you add one by one. Reminly stores routines: you define one once with a recurrence rule, and your checklist is generated automatically every day from it.

How do I install the APK?

Download it and open the file. Android asks permission to install unknown apps from your browser the first time — allow it, then tap Install. You only do this once.

Which Android version do I need?

Android 8.0 (Oreo) or newer. Take the universal APK if you're unsure, or a smaller arm64-v8a, armeabi-v7a or x86_64 build if you know your device.

Can I move my data to a new phone?

Yes. Settings → Export creates a backup file with your routines, completion history and settings. Import it on the new device and everything comes back, streaks included.
